Renewal of Minor Passport over 1 year from expiry date due to visa requirements
Good day
I need to enquire about my daughter's passport (DOB 2010). Passport was issued in December 2011 and as per Indian guidelines it is valid for 5 years, which is December 2016.
We are currently in Australia on a 457 visa valid upto December 2015 but this likely to be extended upto January 2017.
So i need to renew my daughter's passport before I could apply for thè visa. But it says online that you can only renew if its under a year from date of expiry.
Can you guide us?
