The bls-india.com website is not clear or consistent at all with regard to the photographs required when applying for re-issue of passport. Under documents requirement on the webpage it says "Four recent color passport size 2 inches by 2 inches (2”x2”) photo on glossy photo paper, showing full frontal view of the applicants face against a white background to be pasted on the application form." Do I paste four photos on the application form?
The document checklist PDF for renewal/re-issue of passport states in #9 "Passportsize photographs of 2 X 2 inches size with white background only" It does not say how many of these photographs to attach. In the sorting order page it says "paste all photographs where applicable"
They also contradict themselves on the use of paper clips. The website says it is okay to attach photos with paper clips but the PDF also states in two different places to not use staples or paperclips. What is this madness? Can you share what you did with your applications? How many photos in addition to the ones on the form, paper clipped or not?
