    OCI Spouse Application Delay

    Hi,

    Can anyone help me.
    British citizen who applied for OCI (as Spouse) in May 2015 and it is still under processing. Apparently spouse applications have to be signed off by Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi. Whilst i understand security checks have to be made, does anyone know why it is taking so long? Did the merger of OCI/PIO cause the delays?
