Question about father's name in passport application

Hello everyone,

All my documents in my OCI application have matching information, except for my birth certificate where my Dad's name is spelled "Mushtaque" instead of "Mustak" , which was his name and spelled like that even on his passport? Will this cause a delay in my OCI application? What can I do?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Affidavit is the only way I guess you can get your documents getting corrected.
refer the example provided by the administrator.
