Hi, My daughter has PIO card with lifetime entry which we got last year. Today i came to know about PIO to OCI process and my family is flying to India on 31st Jan for 3 months. I am planning to submit the OCI application now and have following questions
1.) As per my understanding , the original US passport and PIO card is not required at the time of application submission. Please confirm.
2.) After completion of first step , during match up process these documents (passport and PIO) is required.
3.) If I'll apply for OCI now and submit the match up documents in May once my family come back, would CKGS will hold the OCI card. Or they have any process to submit the documents for matchup within defined time frame.
