need help regarding visa/PIO/oci

Hello...
I read that Indian govt has stopped issuing PIO card. Instead they are giving OCI. But to get OCI for a foreigner whose husband is Indian need to wait 2 years preceding OCI application.

So if a foreigner gets married today with an Indian then he/she needs to wait 2 years from now t get OCI. But my question is...how that foreigner will stay in India in that time? Bc visa period is valid only for 3 months. If he/she comes in India on visa valid for 3 months and get married here...does he or she need to go back to their respective country and wait 2 years to return or can he/she extend his/her visa till 2 years from FRRO?

Can anyone please let me know? I am confused in this matter.

sir/madam, you won't get an OCI card if you are applying base on Indian spouse. yes qualification said so, but is forever process, won't approved. just apply VISA
