OCI minor- status -further securitization and processing

Hello,

Please below the status of the OCI application for my daughter(Washington DC). Had few questions.

1)We were asked to send the original passport which was returned. Will we be asked to send the passports again for matchup process.
2) The latest status - sent to Delhi for further scrutinization, is that a common procedure . Anyone with experience?
3) how long does it take from this point. We have trip planned by end of May,. would it be better to apply for Visa?

I applied on March 2, got email that OCI card is dispatched on April 2, and the card has arrived today (April 11).

Next up, match-up process in person.
