Documents for OCI
Hi Everyone,
Me and my wife are both US citizens (through the standard H1/GC process) and are in the proces sof applying for our OCI. I am an risj here of missing some document the way the process has been defined and wanted to make sure I have everything right before I mail the packet tomorrow morning.
1. I have the Part A/B form printed, dates, signed by me. I have a photograph glued to it.
2. I have the US naturalization certification and US passport copy (self attested)
3. Indian passport (cancelled) and the reunification letter (self attested)
4. Demand Draft
5. Self-Addressed prepaid envelope
Questions:
1. Do I need the notarized marriage certificate?
2. Do I need the DoB certificate?
3. Any additional photographs apart from the affixed one?
4. Apart from the form, no originals being mailed, correct?
Much appreciate all your feedback. I'd like to make sure I get this right as I have to travel to India in the next 3 months or so.
