Ended filling up the wrong visa, need refund from ckgs

I accidently filled up an entry visa for my wife which is 5 years when i think what i should have done was fill up the tourist visa which is actually cheaper and i believe its for 10 years. We need to get to India for a wedding.

I ended up paying the whole amount online through the ckgs website. Any chance i can get a refund and refill the whole form for tourist visa. Im really fustrated by the whole process. I havent send any physical documents yet. but wanted to know what was everyones experiences are in this matter...

I think you need to consider the money as lost. My experience with ckgs, and this seems to be the common thread, horrible. I don’t think you will get your money back, I think if you contact them you will get a different answer from one person to the other. Do the tourist e-visa if your wife is staying in India for less than 30 days.

Frustration is high with everyone when it comes to any process surrounding visa, oci, passports etc and anyone applying for any of the above.
