I'm applying for an OCI based on my wife's OCI... both of her parents were born in India, she has her OCI completed now.
I am a UK citizen, as is my wife. My father is British and mother is from the Netherlands. My previous application failed because I did not provide my birth certificate (everything else was in order)... I am now filling in a new application but can't figure out if I need to upload my Birth Certificate as a PDF or just provide it at the appointment?
So far I have uploaded:
Current Passport - Scan of MY passport
Marriage Certificate - Scan of My marriage certificate
Relationship Certificate - Scan of MY WIFE'S passport
Spouse OCI Card - Scan of MY WIFE'S OCI
The only remaining options are:
Indian Visa - I do not have a current Visa
Indian Origin Proof - Not sure this is relevant for me?
POI Card - Not relevant for me
So, should I just leave it at this and provide my birth certificate (and photocopy of said birth certificate) at the appointment? I really don't want to mess up the application again as I need this completed (or I'll have to pay for another Visa) for a trip to India in February next year!
