My mother was from Pakistan and my father is from India. We live in the KSA but I and my sibling were never documented. Now we are both 18+ and have no nationality. We have applied for Indian citizenship and it has been over 3 years but there's been no response. Is this normal? What can we do? Are there better chances of getting the citizenship if we go reside in India? And how long would it normally take? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I'm very much at a loss for what I can do next. Thank you.

Yes, it feels like it.Originally posted by daggit View PostDo you have an Indian tourist or resident visa?
From what I understand, applying for Indian citizenship by foreign nationals, esp from pakistan, is like pulling teeth.
We are in Saudi Arabia and have been here all our lives except one of us was born in Pakistan and the other over here. Our mother was from Pakistan. Our father is from India. And all my other siblings have Indian nationality. Due to unfortunate circumstances and a lot of negligence you could say due to it, we were never documented so we have no passport/visa and we applied for citizenship over 3 years back. There has been no response either negative or positive in all this time. Is there any hope for us? Thank you.
