Painful experience with OCI in lieu of PIO

I want to share my experience on OCI in lieu of PIO, so far since it was mentioned last day was 31st Dec to submit otherwise pay fee for this, I submitted everything by that time, they sent back form saying minor above 5 (in my case 7) let them sign not mentioned on form mentioned somewhere hidden, and thumb impression is not OK, so we re did that and also asked for clear picture we did that. Sent through USPS why I should pay again 1 day heavy price postage, have to yet hear back from them

Uptil now paid $67 though they claim it is no fee if you add all notary and postage and CKGS fee it comes more than $100 it is reidiculous

Will keep you posted what happens next

Please don't keep quite for your sake and others sake please file a complaint against this. I am having a real bad experience with CKGS currently and they are fooling around so that make more money by denying applications and asking to re-apply.

complaining to CKGS is no use as they are not going to take actions against themselves and consulate also does not want to take any liability.

please send email to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and tell her the issues we are facing here so that some action is going to be taken. One person fighting will not give us solution if we all step up to get some justice then only it will work.
