New OCI card process - Original Passport

I applied New OCI card for my kid in Houston. Ckgs asked kid Original usa passport along with application and they returned original passport in 1 week after indian embassy verified. Oci process will be continued. So once they issue OCI card/book, don?t they need to attach/stamp any ?U? sticker in passport???

No more U stickers. Nothing pasted, printed, stuck to your passport for OCI. Your passport # will be in the OCI last page.
