Can I send in OCI documents & Renunciation docs at the same time separately?

I had all the OCI documents ready to go and then noticed that I may not have picked the option for Renunciation also. I e-mailed support to see if I can add on but they advised me to apply separately for Renunciation.

As far as sending the documents at the same time separately, she said "You can apply for OCI and Renunciation at the same time. For proof of Renunciation, you need to submit the payment receipt of Renunciation along with the covering note stating that applied for renunciation from CKGS."

However, I've seen some threads in ImmiHelp that say to get Renunciation done first and then send in the OCI docs. Anyone have experience with this situation?
