  • Infant Stay More than 6 month on a Visa in India

Last year I had to go to India on emergency and I took visa for my 2 year daughter( US born) to India instead of OCI card. She did stayed in India for more than 180 days and then came to the US. Now I am planning to send her again with the same visa. Do you think that can cause a problem for her entry to India? Any of you has more info on the OCI registration. It is stated on the Visa that OCI registration is needed for the stay longer than 180 days. Any inputs greatly appreciated.

IMO, immigration officers in India are not going to be picky about it. Did they warn she was returning back from India?
