Collecting OCI card after moving out of US

Hi All,

I had applied PIO to OCI conversion for my kid, before it was approved, we had to relocate to UK due to visa issue. Now the OCI is approved but we cant get it delivered outside of US. I have tried reaching to ckgs and embassy. Ckgs has no solution, embassy has not responded even after multiple followups. We cannot apply for new OCI as told by the agency in UK. Please suggest

You can contact the mail carrier. If you opted for CKGS FedEx option, you will get the tracking number when they ship. You may try to contact FedEx to re-deliver it to your UK location. This may be a hassle, but give a try. You may have to pay more, provide proof of identification and additional documentation. Worse case, it will get returned to CKGS. You can track that too. Then call CKGS to send it to the UK address.

You can setup a FedEx account with your current address. When you get the tracking number, you can ask FedEx to deliver it in your office or friends address. Try these if it will work for you

If it gets dropped at the door, and if you have friends, you can ask them to collect and send it to you. You need to write a 'To whom it may concern' letter and hand it over to your friend to collect the package. It will help if someone calls police (worse case).
