Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a trainee pilot in India.
I want to pursue my flight training in Florida, USA and my work regarding the US visa in process.
I recently got my passport issued (10th December 2006) but it has neither ECR nor ECNR stamp.
After checking your website I learnt that ECR is not required for students but I'm still unclear whether I require to have ECNR stamp for USA.
I hear many people say that you don't need to whereas some say that it may create a problem in the US.
Since I have to leave end of this month to begin flight training on Feb 1st 2007 and have not much time I would really appreciate if you could clear my doubt.
