Hi All,

I need clarification regarding my name in the passport. In passport, my name is written as Shivaraj and there are no middle and last names specified. This is because my 10th certificate contains the name as Shivaraj and there is no middle or last name.

But I heard that, if we want to travel US, the possport should have middle or last name along with the first name. If this is true, please let me know what should I do to overcome this issue.

If that is your name then dont worry.

They handle these issues with acronyms like.

LNU - Last name unknown.

Most people dont have middle name so that is not an issue either.
