Regarding Passport Expiry

Hi..
Am an H1B visa holder am having my h1 B visa but my travel may take next 3 month and my passport will expiry on next 6 months so let me know Is there any restriction for travel ( like expiry date of passport date should be less than 6 months) or can i renew my passport in India before travel ...plz tell me the details... Ragards

Or you can renew here in the US before or after traveling.
