Me and my wife both are Indian citizens and we are going to have a baby soon in USA. I wanted to check - if we go for the US passport for the baby, what's the maximum duration the child is allowed to stay in India, if I keep on reporting to appropriate police authorities every 180 days for overstaying? Is it the entire duration of the validity of PIO card (i.e. 15 years) or there is some other restrictions too?
