OCI - Agricultural / plantation properties

Hi:

I would like your help with the clarificaation on the Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) benefit with regards to acquiring plantation / agricultural properties.

1) Currently if you are an Indian citizen and have agricultural properties and then subsequently become an OCI in the future, how will this agricultural property be affected? Can you still hold this property and if so, what are benefits / drawbacks if any?

2) If you an OCI and then decide to purchase agricultural properties, can we do this? Is there any limitation? If so, appreciate your clarification.
