H1B - Passport Number changed

Hi All,

I applyed for H1B. Lottery also cleared. When i was applying in my passport my state name is wrong . it was the mistake done by Passport office people. Now i given it for Correction. They done correction and changed my passport number also. In my new passport , no where they didn't mention about my old passport number. I asked them provide old passport number in my New passport. They are telling "It was mistake done by us so we cancelled ur previous passport and given new one. Only the case when applicant done mistake that time we will refer old passport number in New one." Is that problem for me to attend Visa Interview. From consultant side they can do anything on this?? if it is the problem is there any alternative way

... shouldn't be a problem for you. Make sure you have the relevant documentation.

Just wondering how you're going to manage in United States with the English you've written. No offence, nothing personal.
