Ecnr Stamp

Hi

I have applied passport in aug 2007. I am a Bsc holder , so my passport under ECNR status. As far as the new policy, if the person is eligible for ECNR status means no stamp is available in the passport. If the person is eligible for ECR means ECR stamp will be available in the passport

Now i have passport, now my company people is asking the passport
and it should be "ECNR stamped"

I have some chances to go china for 4 -6 weeks

So what i need to do now..Whether my passport is having that one or i need to do something?...

Your company people are not aware of the new rules.

In latest passports:
If no stamp, means ECNR.
If ECR, there will be a stamp.
