OCI Documents - Question

Hello,
I am applying for OCI for myself, spouse and child. I have filled part A and printed the part B application. I have a few questions

1) When I checked the SF embassay website it says to submit DUPLICATE of documents for each applicant. Does this mean I have submit 3 sets of Part A and Part-B application with support documents? One set each of me,spouse and child?

2) If so, can I make the other two copies after taking thumb print of my daughter? Or does thumb print have to be original in each set?

3) They are saying not to copy the empty page of your passport. When you open the 2nd page of the passport, you see the 3rd page on the right. Is it okay to send the copy of 2 page ( with details ) and 3rd page ( empty ).

I believe you had included yourself, spouse and minor child in your online application form. Just print once and make six copies (exclude instruction); two copies for each person.

1) No. Each set includes two copies (duplicate) of application (part A & B) for each person and send it with two sets of supporting documents with each set of application.

2) All original signs and/ or thumbprints. You need only two copies of each application.

3) Yes.

Regarding the no. of sets of document. It is still not clear to me. Please clarify. Thanks for your response.

Yes, I included my information, spouse information and child information in Part A online. Printed Part A and Part B. Included one copy of all supporting documents. Let's says this is my main bunch of documents.

Now, are you saying I have to make 6 copies of above bunch before signing and taking child's thumb print?

Finally, in total I will be sending 6 set of documents( Each set containing Part A, Part B and supporting documents ).

Yes, in total you are going to send six set of documents (each set containing Part A, Part B and supporting documents).
Keep one copy for your record.
