FRRO Registration in India

Hi,

My son born here in US and now he is 8 months old. My wife and my son are going to India for vacation for 6 months. My question is do we need to register with FRRO if the stay extend more than 6 months or is there any execption for infants, no need to register with FRRO. My son is having PIO card.

Any one experience the same problem.

If your child is exempt, there would be such note in the PIO card itself.
