How to apply for PIO card for a new born.

We got the US passport. We stay in connecticut state.
1. What are the documents required.
2. From where should I download the forms
3. how can I expedite the process
4. How long does it take expidite or normal
5. to where should I mail the documents.

No idea how to expedite the process (from the info on these forums I wouldn't count on it being possible), but submitting in person may help. If the Houston consulate is any indication (I just got my PIO last week, took a little over four weeks) they don't answer the phone or respond to emails. If you need it in a hurry the best thing to do is to get the docs submitted right away.

Any idea on how long does it take if I have to apply in person. Is my kid or my wife required to be there to apply for PIO card for my new born kid?

will applying for a visa would be faster than PIO card?

... in one day, PIO takes about 2 to 4 weeks depending upon the location.

ohhh sorry... i saw it in the application form from the following link under how to apply

1. section 12 is missing
2. signature of the applicant is striked off
3 neither the fillable form on the following website allows me to fill in certain details. filling one column fills up other column automatically. I will have to fill this out by hand
