Houston OCI - Time

Hi: My OCI application has been approved and the documents have reached the Houston Embassy. I will be sending my US passport along with the Indian Passport for final stamping. Any idea how long it will take Houston to send me the OCI card?. It took them forever to process my application (application files in July 08 - Approved in late November 08).

No response from Houston CGI yet.

It has been more than two weeks since I sent my US and Indian PPs for OCI stamping. No reply yet. Is this normal. I know it is Christmas time. I am just worried about my PPs.

Oh! Houston's running ...

... behind schedule on a lot of stuff. Yes, one of the reasons is the holiday season. The other you know better! Your guess is as good as mine.

Just wait until second week of January.

Finally.. its over

I got my OCI card and the stamping in the mail from Houston. Finally it is all done.
