what proceudre to follow to bring the baby back from india?

I am planning to have our baby born in india and I was wondering what steps do i have to follow to bring the baby back?

1. We both are citizens so what documnets we need to take along with us for the return of the baby?
2.Do I have to submit birth cert of my baby to american consulate? if yes what else do i have to submit?

My imp question is when will the baby have its us passprt and can the baby travel with it or can the baby fly without passport?

Will the authorities at indain airport raise a problem if the baby does not have any documnents except his birth cert?

Plz I totally have faith in immihelp forums so i am waiting for someone to answer these worries...

You have to report the birth of your child and present them with its birth certificate and the proof that at least one of you are US citizen.

The child will be issued US passport and using that you can bring your child to USA on that US passport. The child can't fly without the passport.
