I came to USA 3 years ago as a student. In my absence my husband obtained divorce, judge passed his request for divorce/ petition because I was not able to attend the court. I have a minor child. He did not claim for the custody or child custody is not assigned to any parent in the divorce decree. I requested my advocate to apply for child custody, however it appears to take a year or longer. Now I want to bring my child here as I am working in USA. He does not want to sign / give consent for my daughter's passport. In this situation, is there any alternative or a way to get her passport in India. Thanks.
