Immigration Status on Passport

On my old passport there was a stamp as 'Emigration check Required (ECR) except for Bangladesh,Pakistan, all countries in Europe except commonwealth of independent status(CIS), North America, Japan, New Zealand & Australia.

On the new passport this stamp is absent.
I would like to know what effect it will have if I have to go to USA etc

On new Indian passports, no stamp means ECNR. They put ECR stamp, if appropriate.

Anyway, that does not matter for USA.
