OCI Part A Application Mistake

Hi: I filled out the OCI Part A application online and unfortunately after I printed it out, I realized that I made a mistake.

My question is, can I complete an other Part A online correctly? This will give me a different number. Will completing Part A two times (with different application #s) pose a problem in processing?

Any response is appreciated. Unfortunately there is no place I can get this information. The indian consulates in the do not answer the phone nor do they respond back to the emails..

Just after I posted the message regarding embassy not answering the phone, I tried the NY Consulate number and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the phone was picked up and my question was answered... what a surprise...

Anyway, if you make a mistake, you can go ahead and re-register online. This will not cause a problem...
