From reading this forum, I think my mother is eligible for OCI. But I just want to confirm with some of you experts in this matter before proceeding.
My mother was born in Kampala Uganda in Dec 1950 to her Indian parents. My mother alway held British Citizenship/Passport up until recently when she became US Citizen. My father was born in India and was Indian Citizen up until recently when he became US Citizen with my mother.
Can my mother apply for OCI based on the fact that she was born to Indian parents? If so, what type of documents would be required from her?
