  • Pio and oci cards

    Hi,
I do not have any suggestions as to the differences between the PIO AND OCI CARDS.

However i do have a quick question, which i was unable to figure out from the website.

My questions is that- I am a british citizen, and my parents, grandparents are from india, born in india.

Can i still apply for the OCI CARD.

On the website it says that, the eligibility for an OCI CARD is that your parents should be born in india.

But then it says that foreign born children of both indian parents are not eligible.

    Please do let me know.

What is the citizenship of your parents and/or grandparents?

What country were you born in?

In that case, you are not eligible to apply for OCI card.
