Hi,
Could anyone please answer my below questions.
1. My child has a PIO card. Myself and my spouse became U.S. Citizens and have PIO card. Can my child travel to India with his PIO card or does he need an OCI as his parents(we) are now U.S. Citizens ?

2. Can we travel to India after applying for OCI ?

3. Do we have to sent PIO or Passport original while applying for OCI ?

4. How long will it take for OCI processing in IL ?

Yes. Your child can travel to India using PIO card.

2. Can we travel to India after applying for OCI ?
Yes. You can travel using your PIO.

3. Do we have to sent PIO or Passport original while applying for OCI ?
Not while applying. But you need to send it in after they process your application and received at US consulate/embassy. Or you can visit the consulate/embassy to collect your U-Visa.

4. How long will it take for OCI processing in IL ?
Sorry. I have no idea.
