Hello,

I am an Green card Holder and carry a valid Indian Passport, my wife is a US citizen but born in India and our 10 month old daughter is born in US. So I am confused what should I apply for; for my wife and my daughter.

Your wife and daugher can apply either for OCI or for PIO. They are eligible for either of them.

I am restarting this thread... my case was

I am GC holder with Indian Passport, my wife was born in India but is US citizen and my 15 month old daughter is US citizen. I was told that my wife & daughter are eligible for OCI but on the site I read that my daughter may not be eligible for OCI...

You have some misunderstanding.

How can you be eligible for OCI? You are still Indian citizen.

As your wife is U.S. citizen of Indian origin, your child is eligible for OCI. The chlid is not eligible for OCI only if both parents are Indian citizens. However, that is not the case for you as your wife is U.S. citizen.
