Good Afternoon,
My brother has a business visa valid for 5 years. He is currently living in Chennai and will be there for at least 1 year. My sister –in-law is going for a visit in September for about 6 weeks and then would like to return in January for the duration of his stay. What kind visa will she need? It is my understanding that the maximum stay is 6 months on a Tourist Visa. If she has a visa that is long term what length of time would she need to leave India before returning?
I would appreciate any information you can provide me.
