hy,
i am an american citizen living in Pune, looking to apply for an OCI, however i do not have enough time to go and apply in Mumbai, but i heard that a person who has an authority letter given by me can apply for me. is this true? also can that same person pick up my OCI once it is done?
how long does it take on average for them to process the application and issue the visa?
i have tried to call the FRRO mumbai which handles OCI, but they are very un-coperative and never answer my questions or just simply hang up, which why i am posting this here.
i cannot apply by mail either b/c it would require me/or an authorized person to go and pick up the visa in delhi
