Emergency Visa

Dear sir/madam

I am a British citizen living in Minnesota and just found out that my grandmother has just passed away in Delhi, Inida. I have a US greencard and my indian 5 year visa expired 2008. There is a flight tomorrow evening but was wondering if there is a way to get an emergency visa on arrival in Delhi to allow me to attend the funeral?
