OCI Application

Hi,

I live in south carolina and I sent my oci application to consulate
in Newyork.I realised the mistake that I had to send the application
to Washghton office( my application from is from wassgthon office).
I was told that my application will be returned but it more then a month
I havn't recevied it back.How long I have to wait.It is not acknowleged that
they have recevied yet.Please help me.
