Pio cards

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am based in USA and we are INDIAN CITIZEN.

I want to apply for PIO card for my 2 Childrens who were Born in USA and has US PASSPORT.

For some personal reason we had to stay in USA and we became ILLEGAL and we are planning to go back home to INDIA permenantly. My Wife Passport has expired but my Passport is still valid.

Will be there be any problem if we apply for PIO cards because they need they Passport Copies of the Parents . And if they find out that the Mother PASSPORT has expired and the PIO will be rejected.

If your wife's passport has expired, how is she planning to go back to India? I suggest that she gets her passport renewed.
