Status of our Passports with the OCI

We have mailed our passports by Speed Post on April 3rd, 2009. We are waiting for our passports with the OCI stamp
and OCI certificate.

Please address following questions:-

1)How much time to take to New Passport Endorsed in PIOCard, if i visit in-person(my kid & mom)?
2)In-person visit, can i get the passport on the same day?
3) In-person visit, both of parents must present?
4)Is it Affidavit for issues of child's passport for Miscellaneous services?
5)Can i endorse while traveling?
6)Can i endorse in US consulate in Chennai?
