  • PIO application question

In the PIO application(Washigton D.C. embassy) on item 14 where it asks for proof of Indian original (through self , parent etc.) if you fill your (applicant's) information (like Indian passport number etc.), do he/she need to furnish the details in item 15 of his/her parents or spouse.
IMHO, if the applicant himself/herself was Indian citizen, then the additional information is redundant.
    Can someone confirm?

    You are right.

If you can prove that you are PIO, you don't have to worry about your parents or spouse.
