CKGS New York Passport Renewal - No FedEx Shipping Option

Hi all,

I'm working on my Indian passport renewal application on the CKGS website. In the "Shipping through CKGS" section of the application (part 4, Submission and Collection Mode), the only option I see under "Select Shipping Option" is the following: "I will use my own airway bill". However, my understanding is that CKGS has some partnership with FedEx wherein we can select and ship via FedEx. Given the "own airway..." option I see currently, how do you advise I proceed? I've already reached out to CKGS via email (no response yet).

Thanks much for your response. Looks like there were some issues with FedEx and they started using UPS. I was able to submit my application with the UPS shipping label.

How did you submit your application with UPS - did you use your own shipping label or generated by CKGS? Also, can you tell about return label? I am submitting my passport application, but struggling to get shipping information as their website doesn't give CKGS shipping options. Thanks.

Can you please share you experience? Also is it possible to change the shipping option after submitting CKGS application (online, not physical one)?

I think this might be due to technical issues with shipping options on their website. I had similar issues- I just waited a couple days after which they were fixed I think (since I started seeing the UPS shipping option again). My suggestion would be to wait at least one or two more days. If it does not show up even after that, please email CKGS letting them know of this issue.

Please see my response above- I strongly suggest to use the shipping options CKGS has to avoid any issues. If you are not able to see either UPS or FedEx, please wait a few days/email CKGS letting them know. In my case, the UPS option started showing up on the website after a couple days.

I think shipping options are available only in the "Submission and Collection Details" part. This is where I was able to see the UPS option after a few days.

Hi, I have been trying to select the shipping option through CKGS, but I see only 1. Select Shipping Option & 2. Use my own airway bill. This has been since Sunday 10/04. Tried calling but office is closed. Sent an email and awaiting a reply.

I am in the same boat as well, I am on the shipping step and the only options I see is 1. Select Shipping Option and 2. Use my own airway bill. I want to use 'CKGS' recommended shipping option which is to use their service, however I am unsure of how to select that. I have sent them an email as well but have not heard anything back yet. Sent them an email last night. Thanks

I contacted them for Oci, didn't get reply so sent email to consulate directly regarding this and someone from ckgs got back to me within few hours.

This is what they said - You may kindly select, “My own airway bill” as we are no more providing the courier service
I believe this might apply to passports and others as well.

Anyways, so I send my application via UPS and as part of the application I send them a return shipping label as well? Just like the ones we get for packages like from Amazon? Or do I include an UPS envelope along with the shipping label? Thoughts/comments any?

If new OCI, 2 return labels with envelopes need to be sent.
