Can I apply for renunciation with the naturalization certificate only (and no US pp)

So, I received my naturalization certificate on 11/20 and it looks like the USA passport is taking 90+ days (I applied already).
Downloaded and compiled the entire checklist including the renunciation certificate, and got the details from VFS help desk.
That said, there is one line item for when you acquired foreign passport and what's the number? If I do not have a passport yet, what do I enter?
I believe we still have to renounce within 90 days since naturalization is as good as a diff nationality.

No, for renunciation, you will need to wait for your US passport as US passport number and copy are required documents for renunciation and eventually OCI.

Upgrade your passport to expedited by paying additional 60 dollars

I applied on 21 of October and got it on 28 of October in Houston.
