Address for return of OCI card

So I already paid for and printed the shipping labels through VFS's service, I believe they use FedEx. I have not sent my application yet. Is there a possibility where I can get the OCI card shipped to another address and not my current address? I am willing to buy another shipping label from Fedex's own website and include it instead of the one I bought from VFS's portal.

In addition to including a new label, will I have to get the address changed in the application? If I submit my cousin's address, that address will not match with my address proof (Drivers license). My apartment lease is ending, and the OCI may not come through before the last day of move-out. Maybe just to be on the safe side, I should keep my apartment for another month on a month-to-month rate, but my intention is to goto India as soon as the OCI card arrives in the mail.

chiragthewise What you are saying is not possible. VFS won't ship to another address. They have not included address change which is a common thing in US in their process and workflow. You have either the option of doing month to month renting or wait for address change before applying.

My official address is ZZZ, which I used on the OCI application. But I live at YYY. So, I used a different address on the VFS page. Application wet through fine

The basic issue is that the address on the address proof (driver's license or any other proof) should match the address in the application. My driver's license shows my current apartment address. My lease ends in first week of Jan and I don't want to renew it, I want to goto India after I get my OCI for a few months. I can't remember exactly now, but was there a place during the OCI application process where I could've put a different address for the FedEx shipping label? But my Home address would still be my current address, just a different shipping address

yes, the vfs site had a place to enter your address where you want the packages to go.
