Renunciation - Without Indian Passport

Hi All,

I got my US citizenship before 2010 and I don't have my current Indian passport. I wanted to renew my OCI so they are asking for Renunciation. I went to the VFS site to get information https://services.vfsglobal.com/usa/e...r-renunciation This site requires a Government Reference Number (ARN) this number is obtained by filling a the form in https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html this Indian government site requires to fill in an Indian Passport number which I don't have what do I do ?

You are looking at the wrong category. You want "OCI Renewal" under "OCI Misc Services".
You just need your current US passport and the old OCI card. See the pdfs below:

PS. I am assuming your renounced your Indian Citizienship when you got your OCI and just lost the renunciation certificate. If you somehow got your OCI without renouncing, then you better contact your nearest Indian consulate to figure out how to proceed.

Can you tell me what documents did you submit as Proof of Indian Origin while applying for your OCI the first time. I am in a similar situation where I am looking to apply for an OCI but do not have the Indian passport. Renunciation is already done.
