Guidance required for passport renewal

Dear Sir,

I want to draw your kind attention that my son he is 5.5 year old whose passport is going to expire in this month (July 2010), request you to guide me how can I get it renew, what documents are required, can I apply online for the renewal of the same.

I will be appreciated you if all the related guidance provides me at the earliest.

You can not apply online.

You will have to apply in person at the passport office.

It is not like that.

Those questions that you see are the ones that wer sent to us by an email and we replied to that person via email.

Ideally, we could make another user account called something like 'question_asked_via_email_to_immihelp' and then post reply with another user account called something like 'answered_via_email_by_immihelp'. But that would be too cumbersome because we will have to keep logging in and out to post them. Therefore, all of them are posted under 'immihelp' account only.
