Hi,

I have submitted documents to VFS and while tracking it is updated with status application is on hold stating that "Send a signed statement letter to embassy to update your city in address in government form". Could someone please help me with the form to be signed and submitted and please let me know the process as well.

Most likely, it means that your city was not properly registered in the Govt form. Don't know what the reason is. But what they are expecting from you is a signed statement. It can be in your own language stating that you live at xyz address and your current city is abc" and sign it and send it to them.

But before you send it, just confirm from both VFS and your embassy/consulate what exactly they want. You can find Consulate/Embassy contacts on their respective websites.

I got query from embassy about address didn't match but I am not sure about which address didn't match. I had uploaded Lease document on govt site.
@ Narsi Reddy what kind of signed statement did you send embassy? I have the same kind of query. Could you please provide the format of statement.
