got renunciation certificate but no stamp in passport

Hi folks,

I just got my Indian passports with the hole punch ( meaning it's canceled) and the renunciation certificate as well. But they forgot to put a stamp in the passport for cancellation that " cancel due to acquiring US citizenship"

Is this going to be a problem while applying OCI now because the checklist calls for sending a photocopy of this stamped page?

In some cases, they ask for both as evidence. You should reach out to the consulate and also VFS to inform this, so that they can fix it. You should have a stamp that says "Passport cancelled due to acquiring US/Foreign citizenship" with a date stamp on it.
