Parents surname & given names mismatch on Passport Application

Hi Team,


I am in process of submitting passport renewal application in Washington DC, wherein I observed that my father's and mother's name printed on current holding passport is in sequence of -
<Last name> <Given name>.

I have kept the same name(as per the current holding passport) in Vfs website

While filling the details in Government site for Indian passport form, it's specifically asking for given name and surname for father's and mother's name.
Due to which sequence is getting changed on passport preview page and it is in below format-
<Given name> <Last name>.


Kindly advise if it's OK to continue with this OR do we have alternatives for the same.

Hi,
If you need any corrections in the passport, at the time of renewal you can do the corrections with Supporting documents.. Its better, if you correct the mistake at the time of renewal.. Please make sure to have a valid proof for the same.
